Lost Lake

A late-night gem, Lost Lake serves comfort food and classic diner fare, making it an ideal hangout spot any time of day or night. They are known for one of the best happy hours in the neighborhood, serving a cheeseburger WITH fries for $4.99! It’s a must-try!

Spinasse

A refined spot for authentic Italian dishes with a Northern twist, known for handmade pastas and intimate ambiance.

Cornelly

Cornelly keeps things warm, simple, and wildly good with fresh pasta, naturally leavened pizza, and an amazing natural wine list. Pro tip: The wait can be pretty long, and they don’t take reservations, so put your name in, then grab a drink at Summit Public House next door while you wait.

Monsoon

Monsoon is the move when you want Vietnamese classics with a sleek, Northwest twist. The claypot catfish and drunken noodles are standouts, but honestly, it’s hard to go wrong. Brunch brings dim sum-style bites and killer cocktails, while dinner leans moodier—perfect for date nights or catching up over too many small plates.

Tacos Chukis

Tacos Chukis is a Capitol Hill staple. It’s fast, inexpensive, and delicious. With tacos starting at $2.95, you can’’t find a better deal in the city! Their speciality is their Adobada, marinated pork cooked topped with grilled pineapple, and it’s a must try.

Big Mario’s Pizza

With revolving VHS tapes playing, neon lights glowing, and cozy booths built for lingering, Big Mario’s feels like a pizza-fueled time warp in the best way. The New York–style slices hit especially hard late night –pepperoni if you’re classic, white pie if you’re bold.

Tamari Bar is an izakaya serving Japanese pub food, fresh sashimi, and some of the best cocktails on the Hill. The menu is built for sharing, with standouts like karaage, skewers, and crispy tempura.

The Doctor's Office

The Doctor’s Office is an intimate 12-seat cocktail bar where classics get obsessive attention and every drink lands exactly right. Reservations aren’t required, but highly recommended. It's a great spot for dates or an evening with a friend.

New to the coffee scene with an official opening in May 2025, Phê, is already known as having some of the best matcha in the city! They’re known for phin-brewed coffee, creative matcha drinks, and thoughtful takes on bánh mì and other classics. It’s bright, welcoming, and already a favorite for daytime hangs with flavor and personality.
