If you are looking for a history lesson while you indulge in something savory, head over to Red Mill. This family-owned and run chain takes pride in its long history in Seattle. Their Phinney Ridge location has a mural depicting two girls picking flowers under a Mill. These girls are said to be Kathleen and Monica Shepherd who were waitresses at the original location.

Venture over to White Center to try out the smashburgers at Farmboy! This spot is located inside Future Primitive Beer with plenty of space to enjoy one of the best burgers in Seattle. The Farmboy is a near perfect smash burger and don't sleep on the cheeseburger. It's super cheesy.

The Truffles N Bacon Signature Burger us like none other. The mac n cheese patty, with the bacon jam and sriracha aioli is delicious. The Barrel and Bacon Signature Burger on a pretzel bun is a must try as well. Also, we know this is a burger guide, but make sure to try the french toast.

Thrillist listed Loretta's as the fourth best burger in the United States. The Seattle Times did a follow-up and people are still coming into the local bar to sample the burger in all of it's glory. Just like everyone has said, it is a simple burger, and it is nearly perfect. If you haven't visited this hidden gem in South Park, it's worth the stop.

Some of the best Smash Burgers are available at Fremont Brewery. We loved this burger truck since they were at Rooftop Brewing. The Peanut Butter, Jam & Bacon Burger is worth trying at least once. The Oklahoma Smash is one of our favorite burgers in Seattle.

Dicks is the Puget Sound's official burger joint. It is the perfect blast from the past retro styled burger joint complete with the closest you can get to retro prices. With a simple menu, these burger extraordinaires have a no complaining policy, meaning their burgers come with everything on it and have NO Substitutions. Although they have loosened up over the years with a few more options. The Deluxe is great, but the simple Dicks cheeseburger is the perfect classic cheeseburger.

206 Burger Company in Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, and Wallingford offers some delicious burger options. We tried the Mariners burger featuring bacon, avocado, caramelized onion w/cheddar cheese all on a SODO bun. Each of the sports-themed specialty burgers are worth trying.

The origin of our well known Red Robin burger chain can be led back to the original Sam’s Tavern. After switching names, they decided to revamp the retired Sam’s and opened new rustic taverns in Seattle. You can find them in SLU and on Cap Hill.

We have driven by Just Burgers in Fremont a couple of times and had to stop in and check it out. These handmade burgers did not disappoint. The waffle fries were also pretty darn good along with the sauces they make in-house. We loved their classic cheeseburger and can't wait to go back for more!

The Easy Street Records Cafe offers the Junction and Sound Garden burgers. The Sound Garden is a garden burger while the Junction is an 8oz burger patty with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and Easy sauce on a sesame seed bun. If you get the Junction make sure to add their thick-cut bacon and cheese!
